Last weekend I bought a new pair of flip flops. I wore them for an hour or so on Sunday and then again on Tuesday night. So I thought they would be pretty much broken in by now. But no. I wore them yesterday while I was running errands and OMG! My feet hurt SOOOOO bad! It was totally because of the new shoes. I run the same basic errands every weekend and did nothing all that special today. But yeow! My poor tootsies are aching.

I’m hungry and I’m sick of drive throughs and fast food. I need an idea for a quick dinner. I have an assortment of things in the freezer, but almost nothing fresh is left on hand. I need to go grocery shopping tomorrow. Maybe tonight will just be some Ramen noodles and an extra handful of chopped meat.

The only amusement park of any kind in our area is a large water park located on the shore of Percy Priest Lake, which had their season opening today.

They do not have any of the traditional amusement park rides. They have several water park rides, wave pool, slides, and now including a new lazy river.

The cost for a season pass is about $60. That seems really expensive, but they say if you go more than two times, all the visits after the second one are free. So maybe that is a good deal after all.
